Wuxi Saite Steel Structure Industry Co., Ltd. successfully held its annual grassroots trade union work meeting in the company’s conference room on April 12, 2024. The purpose of this meeting is to gather the strength of the trade union, strengthen organizational construction, review important rules and regulations, and summarize the work of the past year and look forward to the future. The meeting revolved around four major topics: “Background and purpose of the meeting”, “Changes in trade union members”, “Review of the company system in 2024” and “Summary and outlook”, which fully demonstrated the company’s high attention to grassroots trade union work and employee rights.
At the beginning of the meeting, the host introduced the current domestic and international economic situation, industry development trends and company operations, and emphasized the important role of grassroots trade unions in safeguarding the rights and interests of employees and promoting the harmonious development of enterprises. The meeting clearly pointed out that this meeting aims to further strengthen the construction of trade union organizations, improve the effectiveness of trade union services, review company systems that meet the requirements of the new era, and comprehensively review the work of the past year to point out the direction for trade union work in the new year.
In the topic of “Changes in Union Members”, the union chairman reported in detail the changes in members since the last meeting, including the joining of new employees, the withdrawal of resigned employees, and job adjustments. At the same time, the new union cadres were introduced and affirmed for the new vitality they have injected into the work of the union. In addition, the meeting also reiterated the rights and obligations of union members to ensure that every member can clearly understand and perform their duties.
The meeting entered the core link – reviewing the company system for 2024. Participants discussed in depth the revisions involving employee rights protection, labor relations management, vocational skills training, welfare and benefits improvement, etc. After full discussion and consultation, all union members unanimously voted to pass the new version of the company system, demonstrating the company’s clear attitude of respecting employee opinions and protecting employee rights.
